Gandhi Jayanti Celebration

AIIMS Mangalagiri celebrated “Gandhi Jayanti” on 02.10.2020 at AIIMS Conference Hall, OPD building. The program started with Director, Dean, Medical Superintendent & other staff paying floral tributes by to our beloved father of the nation, Mahatma Gandhi ji & to Lal
Bahadur Shastri ji whose birth anniversary also falls today.

Gandhi Jayanti celebration was organized over the period with various sustainable activities like Cleanliness drive, health education on Swachh Bharat to public and supportive staff of AIIMS Mangalagiri, National level photography competition on the theme of reduce, reuse &
recycle. Similar activities will be organized time to time by AIIMS Mangalagiri to attain the goal of Swachh Bharat

Later a short video was played depicting the cleanliness drive as well as awareness activities conducted at the institute premises for the past few days to mark the occasion. Cleaning of Nurses garden by all Nursing officers, deep Cleaning of OPD & Dharamshala buildings were
among the few activities undertaken as a part of cleanliness drive.
