Jan Andolan campaign on COVID-19

Honorable Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi has launched the Jan Andolan campaign on COVID-19 on 8th October 2020.

The Jan Andolan Campaign is a Low Cost, High-intensity campaign driven by people’s participation, for dissemination throughout the country using all media platforms. The campaign emphasizes on”Unlock with precautions” i.e COVID-19 Appropriate behavior in the New Normal. The three key messages highlighted are – “Wear Mask, Follow Physical Distancing, Maintain Hand Hygiene”

On 9th October 2020, AIIMS Mangalgiri staff and patients took the pledge to follow appropriate behavior for control of COVID-19.
