Ultrasonography facility put into service for patient care in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at AIIMS, Mangalagiri

The department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at AIIMS, Mangalagiri has moved a step ahead in fulfilling its objective to provide, best possible healthcare to patients. In this regard, two new, state of the art ultrasound machines have been procured and installed in the department.  These machines were dedicated for patient care by Honorable Director and CEO of AIIMS, Mangalagiri, Dr. Mukesh Tripathi at the departmental premises in Outpatient hospital block on 19/10/2020. The occasion was also graced by Dean of AIIMS, Mangalagiri, Dr Joy A Ghoshal and Medical Superintendent, Dr Rakesh Kakkar who also released ‘health education’ pamphlets related to ‘Antenatal care during pregnancy’.  These ultrasound machines will be devoted for providing patient care to antenatal mothers, women with infertility and various other gynecological problems with immediate effect.
