World Oral Health day on 20 March 2021 & 21 March 2021 Celebrated By Department of Dentistry

Event was focused to empower people with the knowledge, tools and confidence to secure good oral health diseases, which affect individuals, health systems and economies everywhere.

Following 5 events were organized from the department.
1.Event name- Screening of oral health status
2.Event name- Display of education material on oral hygiene maintenance
Target population- Patients, attendants visiting AIIMS, Mangalagiri, students, hospital staff, labourers.
patients screened- 103 apart from regular OPD.
3.Event name- Screening camp for institutionalized children.
4.Event name- Distribution of oral health goodies (tooth brush & tooth paste)
5.Event name-Demonstration of brushing methods
Target population- Orphanage children. Children screened- 35.
