Highlights of the Department

The Radio-Diagnosis department is conveniently located on the ground floor of the AIIMS, Mangalagiri hospital OP Block providing a friendly, welcoming and relaxed environment during their visits.

We provide compassionate and outstanding patient care through expertise in medical imaging that is timely, cost effective, appropriate and of the highest quality. With collaborative approach we support primary care physician and ensure therapeutic treatment when appropriate.

We offer state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging services which include:

  • 3 Tesla MRI and 256 slice dual source MDCT with advanced applications.
  • 2D/3D USG for General Radiology with special attention towards subspecialties like breast, women & musculoskeletal imaging.
  • 3D/4D USG for Fetal imaging.
  • Image guided interventions.
  • Digital Mammography with stereotactic biopsy for earlier & accurate screening of the breast cancer.
  • Digital Radiography & Contrast procedures for Imaging wide range of medical conditions.

Our radiologists are highly motivated to provide you the highest possible quality care, with sub specialty and fellowship trained in imaging.

Educating medical students, residents, faculty and allied health professionals in the field of Imaging and image-guided interventions by employing interdepartmental case review discussions and research seminars so trainees and healthcare professionals can develop a broad foundation of knowledge upon which to base their future careers.

Our research and scholarly activities will continue to generate innovative solutions and new knowledge that makes a difference for patient care and the future of healthcare.
